Criticisms on Traditional Sociology:
The first criticism ethnomethodology levels against sociology is that sociology is not adequately self-critical.
The second criticism ethnomethodology levels against sociology is that sociology does not pay enough attention to the daily world.
The third criticism is leveled against the quantitative view of sociology. According to ethnomethodologists, the concepts used by sociologists (such as statistical analyzes) distort the social world (Ritzer, 1386: 380).
