What is Morris Rosenberg’ view about Self?

Although Rosenberg was not primarily a symbolic interactionist, but he proposed the concept of “self-perception”. According to him, self perception is the comprehensiveness of thoughts and feelings that a person has when referring to himself as an objective cognition.
Types of self
A-The existing self: the image we have of ourselves.
B-The desired self: the image we would like to have.
C-Pretending self: the way in which we show ourselves in a situation.
